Always an opportunity to run stock around the layout. Here, a 5-BEL unit passes the sub-station and EMU sidings before diving under the bridge.

Under construction:
An 00 finescale layout featuring Third Rail DC operations and DCC control.
The track and wiring are were completed in 2017 and we are now concentrating on the scenery, buildings and other features.

About Beggarwood Lane

Beggarwood Lane is a fictitious layout made to look like a destination on the South Western side of London. It is made to look like an area of London where the Southern region interlinks into the Western region mainly by freight trains.

Features on Beggarwood Lane?

Beggarwood Lane has many features and points of interest built into the layout. 
These include: - 

• An interregional frieght yard with Diesel fueling depot, various sidings, a goods shed, a branch into a privately owned industrial building.
• Two tiers with Southern region working on the arches along the higher tier and Western region branching off on the lower tier.
• An incline connection on the front of the layout.
• an EMU / DMU stabling point. 
• Many scratch built railway Junctions, and point work.

Other buildings and structures completed by autumn 2019 were a diesel fuelling point, a footbridge over the main running lines, a low relief warehouse and ​a low relief football stadium. .
