50th Anniversary Limited Edition Wagons
To commemorate the society’s 50th Anniversary in 2022, we have commissioned new limited edition wagons in both 00 and N gauges through ‘The Wagon Yard’.
They are 5-plank open wagons in a brick red representing the Daneshill Brick & Tile Company, which was founded in 1903 and had a private siding from the Reading to Basingstoke line in use from 4th November 1908 to 31st December 1942.

A run of 150 wagons in 3 running numbers (16, 31 and 57) are being produced for each scale, (i.e. 50 of No. 16, 50 of No. 31 and 50 of No. 57 in both 00 and N gauges).
Every wagon will come with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity, and the price is £18 each.
We also have available brick loads for these wagons. The 00 loads have been produced for us by Model Railway Bits and are custom made and hand-painted in the distinctive Daneshill brick colour, price is £2.50 each. The N-gauge brick loads are by Peco, also hand-painted in the same colour, price is £1 each.
